The throngs of party supporters joyfully marched through some of Accra's main streets while singing and dancing as they chanted Mr. Kyerematen's virtues.
The popularly known Alan Cash, who was accompanied by his wife Patricia, led the 19-kilometer march from the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle to Mantse Agbona in James Town, where it came to an end.
Hon. Kyerematen said his "Great Transformational Plan" (GTP) was intended to fundamentally improve the fortunes of the nation while addressing the gathering at the Mantse Agbona.
GTP aims to provide continuous growth and prosperity for the nation through redesigned agricultural, technological, and economic paradigms.
In order to achieve maximum output for the sake of the populace, he continued, "it is intended to adopt cutting-edge technologies in all facets of productivity."
Hon. Kyerematen claimed that the NPP has received enormous support for its flagbearer candidate during his travels around the various regions because many people believe he will "break the eight" and win the party's 2024 election.
He thanked party supporters in Greater Accra for their overwhelming turnout and display of support and urged the delegates among them to ensure his win in the primary elections since that was the only way the party could continue to hold power.
