In Ghana's elections of 2024, the National Democratic Congress is most likely to prevail in both the presidential and parliamentary races.
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) issued this forecast in its most recent study, which was made public on Friday, April 28, 2023.
In light of this, EIU stated that "The NDC stands a strong chance of winning the 2024 presidential election and securing a legislative majority."
The Unit claimed that the projected voting trends were mostly determined by weak governance and economic hardship.
However, the EIU noted that it anticipates Ghana's policy to continue focusing on ensuring macroeconomic stability, regardless of who maintains power.
It also mentioned that the next administration will experience the same economic difficulties as its predecessor.
The following presidential and legislative elections are scheduled for
2024.
